Takeoff baby!

To the people who have poured into my life and stretched me in ways that pushed me out of my comfort zone… Thank you.

To the people who have exampled the love of Christ and taught me how I should treat others… Thank you.

To those who have entrusted me to start a journey unsure of how the outcome will be… Thank you.

To those who correct me when I am wrong, who push me to a higher standard, who encourage me in times of need and continually support me no matter the circumstances…. Thank you.

I’ve been asked countless times if I am ready to take this endeavor on. The truth? not yet.

To be expected to drop the things I love most without any idea of what the future may hold. To leave my family, my friends, and those who support me. I’m not ready. But I don’t think I’m supposed to be.

I’m not sure Jesus was ready either. The ultimate sacrifice, the lamb, the savior. Set on a mission to redeem his creation yet questioned himself in the Garden of Gethsemane. Tears were shed, questions were asked, but in the end he decided to die so that we could live. He died… for us…

So no, I’m not ready, but I am so stoked. Our God is so radical and His love is forever and everlasting. Its a privilege to proclaim His name. So here’s to the next nine months of traveling the world and leaning more and more into Christ everyday.

It’s go time baby

With love and a posture of praise,

  1. Hey Knox…. remember me, Kimberly….. we met at launch! I’m excited to follow and see what GOD has for you and will do through you! You are correct, it’s ‘go time’ whether we are ready or not. And since you have a posture of praise, I would say you’re as ready as you can be!
    GOD speed!

  2. Isn’t it great that sometimes we aren’t completely ready and we have to rely and be dependent upon God to be there when we aren’t prepared? Or maybe to be there when there was no way we could have prepared? It is at these times that I feel the closest to God, and it might be the same way for you too. Enjoy this journey and learn everything you can about your Savior and yourself!
